Elvira is a Associate Professor in the area of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences of the University of Barcelona. His main areas of research focus on pharmacokinetic studies, and on the absorption of bioactive compounds, both at intestinal and skin level. Since 2010 she collaborates with Dr. Rosa M Lamuela in different research projects in the field of polyphenols.
