Anna Tresserra Rimbau
Anna holds a PhD in Food and Health (2014) from the University of Barcelona (UB). She studied Chemistry (2008), Food Science and Technology (2010), a Master in Advanced Analytical Chemistry (2012) at the UB and a Master in Teacher Training for Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (2017) at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). During her thesis, she completed a stay at Harvard School of Public Health (Boston, USA) with Prof. Eric Rimm. After finishing her postdoc at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), with Dr. Jordi Salas, she joined the group as a Serra-Hunter lecturer. Her research focuses on different epidemiological and intervention studies related to polyphenol consumption and health.
