
Anna Vallverdú Queralt

Anna holds a PhD in Food and Health (2012) from the University of Barcelona (UB). She studied Chemistry (2008) at the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) and she has a master degree in Food Development and Innovation at the UB. During her thesis, she made a research stage at the University of Lleida with Dr. Olga Martín. She has made her postdoctoral stay of 4 years in the National Institute of the Recherche Agronomique (INRA) in Montpellier with Dr. Véronique Cheynier. Currently, she was a Ramón y Cajal researcher since 2023 when she became associate professor at UB. She works in different epidemiological and intervention studies related to polyphenol consumption and health.
