Patricia Ramírez Carrasco holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Concepción and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Chile. During her doctoral training, she focused on the development of vegetable oil oleogels as delivery systems for antioxidant compounds and as substitutes for dietary fats.

In 2023, she began her postdoctoral training at the University of Barcelona. In 2025, she joined the Polyphenol Research Group, where she participates in various clinical studies focused on the analytical determination of bioactive compounds and their metabolites as potential biomarkers of intake in biological samples.
