Rosa María Lamuela Raventós
Rosa has a PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Science. She holds a Master’s degree both in Nutrition and Food Technology (University of Barcelona), and Viticulture and Enology (Technical University of Catalonia, UPC). She did her postdoctoral stay with Prof. Andrew Waterhouse (Department of Viticulture and Enology) at University of California, Davis, where she started to work with polyphenols and health. When she came back to the University of Barcelona as an Assistant Professor she created the Natural Antioxidants: Polyphenols research group.
She is part of the list of the most influential scientists in the world published by Clarivate Analytics (Highly Cited Researchers) in the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. In 2018 she received the XXV Danone Institute Award for Scientific Career “Dr. Carles Martí Henneberg ”.
